Review:
The end of the year means some traditional sets hit the market. Bowman Sterling is one of them,
with Football here this week, Baseball on shelves next week.
And Football certainly doesn’t disappoint.
I only opened one pack, but what I saw, I really liked. All of the cards in my pack were rookie cards,
with three of the five in the form of hits…two relics, one autographed relic. The design is better
than usual, but completely in line with past years. The blue refractor I got really jumped off the
chrome stock, as well.
Without breaking a full box, it is tough to get that real feel for value. I will say, though, that I was happier with the hits in this one
pack than I have been from any previous mid to high-end football box I’ve opened this year. That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t have
gotten another Jordan Todman autograph, of course. But happily I didn’t in this pack........................
