Review:
Well, hello 1/1.

Topps Triple Threads, possibly the best of all high-end baseball products, is back for 2009. And
while the formula remains the same (and, frankly so does the overall look of the base cards), the
potential for that big hit makes this a very enticing, eagerly anticipated product by gamblers every
year.

Each two-pack box carries a rough price tag of $150, so Triple Threads ain't cheap. But the
astoundingly gorgeous multi-relic cards that proliferate the checklist and that make collectors go crazy on the secondary
market are very plentiful. Just look at the Berkman auto relic I pulled. Yes, he might not be a superstar in the eyes of collectors,
but that is one flat-out gorgeous card, and at the end of the day, if you aren't buying this product strictly for the chance at the
monster hit (and they are out there and quite plentiful), then a pull like this will make you very happy.

As for the rest of the pack, as I said, the design is getting a little boring. There are two parallels per pack and, yes, I pulled a
stunner - not just a 1 of 1, but the Ichiro base 1 of 1 that is a cornerstone for any collection. And in actuality, THAT card is the big
one in this pack.

Yeah. I don't think I'll be complaining about this break
