Review:
The good - Um, everything. Great base set design, plentiful inserts and parallels, rookies and legends. I
really like the inserts, some carried over from Series 1, (Legends of the Game, for instance), others
debuting (WBC). What isn’t there to like about Series 2, especially since we knew how good Series 1 was.
The bad - I noticed a few doubles in the box while opening it, before I even started sorting. That can often
lead to a disappointing return if looking for as close to a full set as possible. Aside from that, there was no
bad whatsoever.
The rest - If you are ever going to pull a jersey card of someone on the level of Garret Anderson, it should
be a base product like this – for the child collector or someone picking up a stray pack here or there, that is
a fun pull.
The verdict - This is an easy one. If you like base sets, go get this. If you are a traditional collector, go get
this. If you want to have some fun opening an inexpensive box, go get this.
