2008 Topps Football Retail Set

A few weeks ago, I reviewed a box of 2008 Topps Football. And, as we all know, no one does base sets better than Topps.

Well, this year, Topps has gone that extra yard for football and wrapped it all up nicely for long-term collectors. The set is now
boxed up for sealed by the company, as they have done with their baseball base set for decades. It is a nice touch by the
granddaddy of card companies, and something that those who want a full set without worrying about building it themselves
will truly appreciate.

So, I will do with my set exactly what I espouse when I got my baseball factory set. I’m not opening it, and am putting it away in
the back of my closet for safekeeping. The black box with Brett Favre in a Jet uniform, and containing all the big rookie cards
(along with a five card bonus rookie card pack), won’t see the light of day for a long, long time.

It is like a bottle of fine wine. Keep it stored away and let it age gracefully........................
