Review:
Chrome is a good thing. I think I’ve established that over the time I’ve been writing reviews.

With that in mind, I’ll happily talk about 2008-09 Topps Chrome Basketball. The base card design

lends itself nicely to the Chrome technology, making for a fine looking set of cards.

Unlike the base set, a box of Chrome is devoid of many of the inserts, relying simply on the gloss

of Chrome and the plethora of Refractors, both base and colored. In addition, rookie cards are
less plentiful than in the base set, making the chase for the big names a challenge for collectors.
Add to that one autograph per box (and how I wish mine was the father of the player I pulled, not the son) and you have yourself
a solid product that will make a wide array of collectors happy, be them autograph hounds, rookie card collectors or set
builders.

I love when reviews write themselves. This is one of them. This is a typically solid Tops base product, one that you will be very
happy buying and cracking open. It is that simple..........
