2005 Topps XXL
How do you make a basic product even more attractive than it already is? Make it bigger, of course.
That is the concept behind Topps XXL cards - six packs of four team-specific cards from both 2005 Topps Baseball and 2005
Topps Football.
The teams represented are the classics, all with large, national fan bases. Here is a list of the cards:

The cards themselves are 8x10 versions of the base cards from the 2005 products. So, the beautiful pictures are even better
to look at than on their regular cards. The expression on Brett Favre's face following a TD or the look of determination as Mark
Prior throws a pitch is nice on a regular sized card. On these, they draw you in even more. Pictures won't do these cards
justice, since the size is the key to the entire product.
I remember when I was a kid in the late 80s, Topps reproduced some of their cards on folders, much like the way they did with
these cards. I actually still have them because of how attractive they were. Topps XXL promises to stay in my collection just as
long.
