Review:
Topps caps the 2008 baseball card year with the traditional closing product – Bowman Sterling. And, as
usual, this one is a home run.

By now, we know the drill – six packs per box (plus a boxtopper), five cards per pack, tons and tons of

rookie and prospect autographs, loads of Refractors and other parallels, happy faces on anyone that
opens a box.

I broke a half a box, qualifying Bowman Sterling for a grade at the end. And while I’m not the biggest fan of

prospect and rookie based products, this one always makes me smile. Whether it was pulling Jay Bruce
and Dustin Pedroia autos in 2005 or the Gordon Beckham black refractor I got in this break, you can be
pretty sure that you’ll get at least one huge hit every time you open up Bowman Sterling. If you are a
prospector, you’ll probably be even happier, and can put some of these autos aside and watch the players’ progress down the
road.

The price isn’t for everyone, but for those who want those high-end prospect autos, this is THE product to buy. Period. And, as
always, you will be thrilled with the results........................
