Review:
My feelings on base sets are consistent. This is what collecting is should be all about.
2006 Topps Football is another in a long line of great Topps base sets. The card design is sharp. The
pictures, including a whole batch of rookies in their new uniforms, are of the highest level. The player
selection is flawless. In other words, Topps has another winner.
Base sets are very simple to review. This is no different. Obviously, I love the base set. Of course, it doesn't
end there. There are gold parallels, as usual. There is also a Special Edition Rookie parallel, featuring a
foil logo. There are scads of beautiful inserts, causing a non-base card to fall just about one per pack. And
there are even relics and autographs floating around in you are lucky enough to pull one.
What else is there to say. If you collect football cards, you have to go out and get a box of 2006
Topps. You aren't a real collector if you don't..........
